The sea uses the same words in too many places. An area can be called Epic. A staff can be Secret rarity. An egg can be a T-Rex Egg. An animal can be a Rainbow Tiger. Those are four different labels. Mixing them is how a run grabs the wrong object.
Three lines to write down
For any pickup worth a trip, record:
- The egg's own name and any rarity word on the egg panel.
- The guardian or area around it.
- The animal that hatches, including a variant word such as Gold, Diamond, Rainbow, or Radioactive.
A current beginner guide says the opened sea has 21 egg types. It names Basic Egg and Frog Egg as common finds, with rarer eggs farther along the path, and doors to secret areas guarded by creatures. It does not list the other 19. This site does not invent the missing names.
Examples that are already on record
| What was seen | What it means | What it does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Frog egg during a T-Rex chase | The pickup can disagree with the guardian | Every T-Rex lane drops a T-Rex egg |
| T-Rex egg hatches a T-Rex | That result happens | The next T-Rex egg will match |
| T-Rex egg reported as a Spinosaurus | The egg name is not a guarantee | A known hatch chance |
| Rainbow, Diamond, Gold, Radioactive wording | Those variant words appear on eggs or animals | A multiplier for each word |
| Weather can mutate an egg | A mutated egg hatches an animal with a similar mutation and a higher rate than its normal form | A number for that bonus |
Cosmic and Eternal also appear as wording in the late September 2026 session, on eggs, areas, or animals. Keep the word attached to the object that displayed it.
Weather and variants
During weather events, eggs can catch mutations. The hatched animal keeps a similar mutation and earns more than the normal variant of that animal. There is no published method here for painting a mutation onto an animal you already own. If the game adds a button that says it does that, the button is the source. Until then, compare the earnings on the animals you have.
Gold, Diamond, Rainbow, and Radioactive are recorded labels, not a ranking. A radioactive result in one session was also part of a stretch the player believed was bugged. High rarity text with a tiny Cash rate is a reason to read the number, not a reason to delete the animal before you have checked inventory.
Secret areas
Guarded doors and side pockets lead to stronger eggs in both the written beginner guide and the video. The video's late targets include a yeti lane, a mammoth, and a polar bear egg treated as an end-area pickup. Those are session landmarks. They are not a map with coordinates. If your Power cannot hold the sea open that far, the door is not your next task. Train, or buy Open Time, until a closer guarded egg comes home.
Hatch steps are in Hatching Eggs at Base. Variant words are indexed under Variants.
