Eggs

Hatching Eggs at Base

A hatch starts after the egg is home. Check the animal you received, then place it before you judge the egg name.

Bringing an egg through the waves is only the middle of the loop. The base has the hatch or placement control. You do not need a separate NPC for the basic hatch described in current guides.

Finish the delivery

  1. Confirm the carried egg is the one you meant to take. Read its label, not the guardian's species.
  2. Reach base with the egg still carried.
  3. Select it in the hatch or placement surface the server shows.
  4. Let that egg's timer run. Use the wait to train a few Power reps or to read your Cash. Do not start a second risky opening until you know this egg resolved.
  5. When it finishes, read the animal name, any variant word, and the Cash rate on the panel.

One frog egg in the late September 2026 session was ready in about 15 seconds. Longer eggs exist in that same session, including a late egg the player expected to take minutes. Timers are per egg and can change. Read the timer on the egg you placed.

The name is not the result

Recorded T-Rex eggs have hatched a T-Rex and, in another report from around late September 2026, a Spinosaurus. Two T-Rex eggs opened back to back in the recorded session produced a T-Rex and a second animal the player could not name. A different animal is still a completed hatch. Check inventory and the base before you call it missing.

A frog egg can also appear while a T-Rex is chasing you. If you wanted the dinosaur egg, you picked up the wrong object.

Where the animal goes

Open Pets and equip the result, or place it through the base view, using whichever control your server shows. Animals earn Cash while they are active at the base, including while you are offline. A hatch that never gets equipped does not join that loop.

If the roster looks unchanged, check three things in order: the hatch timer finished, the animal is in inventory, and a base slot is free. A full base is a slot problem. The starting slot count published on September 29 is 10 animals, with more slots sold for Cash or Robux.

What not to do with one hatch

Do not build a rate table from a single animal. The same video shows huge rates and also calls some legendary-looking results bugged at about $1 per second. Compare two animals over the same interval, with the same Rebirth multiplier, potions, and Roblox Plus state. Replace an equipped animal only when the panel still favors the new one after that check.

Pickup rules are in Egg Names, Variants, and Guards. Named eggs are listed under Eggs, and animals under Animals.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Open Sea For Animals?

It is a free Roblox simulator by xFrozen x Dudes. You split the sea with a staff, carry an egg back before the waves close, hatch an animal, and earn Cash from animals at your base.

How do I open the sea?

Stand in the Safe Zone, hold the left mouse button to charge the staff, and release when the bar is full. A stronger staff and higher Power keep the opening up longer.

What happens if I get caught?

A wave or guardian hit drops the egg and throws you back to the Safe Zone. Shorten the route or raise Speed, then retry that same egg.

What does the Release code give?

Current code lists say Release gives a Bat, often described as a rare Bat. Enter it once in the Shop code box and check the animal roster. It can already be used or expired on your account.

Do animals earn Cash offline?

Yes. The official description says animals earn Cash offline, and Roblox Plus players get 15% extra Cash. No offline time cap is published.

Does Rebirth reset my animals?

The September 29, 2026 guide says no. Rebirth spends Cash, starting at 25,000 for a 2x multiplier, and leaves animals, upgrades, and store purchases. Read the confirmation panel in case a Saturday update changed that.
